Latest from the painting desk: a cabbage wagon for my growing Saga army. The wagon itself is from Warlord Games, while the cabbages are sculpted from greenstuff. The idea was shamelessly stolen from the incredibly talented JAK, who has converted up an astonishing Discworld-themed Empire army over on the Warhammer Empire Forum.
Yes folks, these are 28mm cricketers. Armed 28mm cricketers no less. These are from Sloppy Jalopy, for VBCW – though they’d also be handy for a “what if” scenario of a German invasion of Britain during WW2.
They’re fantastic sculpts, really original – especially the bowler lobbing his grenade.
DBR-7 Firewall. Another quick Dreadball MVP done in time for my game on Sunday.
Yes folks, it’s 28mm Sid James and Charles Hawtrey. These are from Mutton Chop Miniatures (via Empress Miniatures in the UK) and they’re fantastic.
I’ve no actual use for these (maybe some “what if” WW2 German invasion of the UK scenario) but owning and having painted Charlie and Sid in 28mm is satisfaction enough.
